Welcome to Legatus Polska, which is currently being organized and established. 

Considered to be the center of Catholicism in Poland, Legatus Polska will be established and headquartered in Krakow.  Granting his ecclesial approval of Legatus Polska the Archbishop of Krakow, Stanisław Cardinal Dziwisz, has appointed Father Jan Machniak as the organization’s Chaplain.

Legatus Polska will be established under an Affiliation Agreement with Legatus, headquartered in Ave Maria, Florida.  The chapters of Legatus Polska will operate under and be subject to this agreement.  Initial plans include developing chapters in Krakow and Warszawa (possibly two in each of these cities), Gdansk, Łodz, Poznan, Katowice and Gliwice.

The members of Legatus Polska and its Chapters will be business leaders and their spouses hailing from a proud Polish heritage.  Chapters in each city will reach out to these CEO’s and business owners who for many reasons are searching for opportunities to explore the richness of their faith with fellow Catholic business leaders.

Events will be held quarterly or monthly as established by each Chapter.  Following the model established by Legatus in 1987, these events will include celebration of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, social time and dinner, and a compelling speaker’s program.  Speaker presentations will focus on themes of faith, family, business, and how the culture of Poland, Europe, and even world events impact the faith and business life of members.
